Recipe of making Choyela
Ingredients:
Meat (Buff), garlic and ginger paste,
cumin powder ( Jeera powder),
fenugreek (methi),
mustard oil, salt,
red chili powder,
and fresh coriander ( dhaniya).
Procedure:
1. You need to boil the meat first. Boil the meat for around 25-30 minute.
2. After boiling, cut the meat into small cubes
You can cut it to any size and shape you want. Than place it in a bowl.
3. Spicy the Choila, tastier it gets, so add some salt and red chili powder (according to your taste)
4. Gently mash the meat after you have added garlic and ginger paste and cumin powder (Jeera powder)
5. Then you need to heat the oil along with fenugreek (methi).
You will know that the oil is ready when fenugreek changes color from brown to black.
6. Now pour this mixture on to the choila and mash the meat
7. Then finally end the recipe by adding freshly cut coriander.
This adds a nice taste to the meat; coriander can also be used to decorate.
8. You can also grill the meat after you have boiled it before cutting it. This adds a smoky taste to Choila.
